Abstract
The Indonesian government is actively working towards developing the tourism sector in a sustainable manner. One of the government programs aimed at achieving this goal is the development of Borobudur Village. As part of this initiative, one of the hamlets within Borobudur Village, Ngaran II hamlet, has established a Pokdarwis (Tourism Awareness Group) to support the development of the village into a sustainable tourism destination. To enhance the knowledge and skills of the Pokdarwis members in providing excellent services to tourists, a series of activities has been organized. These activities include lectures, discussions, and service simulations. The focus of the training is on the principles of good service and effective communication techniques, particularly in the French language. The primary objective of these activities is to improve the quality of service at Pokdarwis. By doing so, it is expected that the number of tourist visits to the tourist destinations managed by Pokdarwis will increase. Through this sustainable tourism approach, Borobudur Village aims to offer satisfying experiences to visitors while preserving the natural and cultural heritage of the area.
