Abstract
Hygiene and Sanitation training and counseling in the village of Bungaraya Siak district is community service the aims is to make people at Bunga Raya Village know and understand about personal hygiene, selection of good food, cleanliness in processing food and cleanliness in the process of food packaging avoid the food durable / not stale and avoid bacteria and germs in the food. The training method is used the classical method with discussion / question and answer approach and practice with the intention that the material can be well received by participants. (1) Definition of self hygiene and sanitation, (2) food hygiene and sanitation, (3) food packaging hygiene and sanitation. The training results show that the participants understood about personal hygiene, cleanliness of equipment and places for food processing, selection good and healthy product to cook and how to store food properly and correctly.
