Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of volunteer tourist motivation through reflective and experiential engagement and the effect of voluntourism traveling and teaching of 1000 Guru South Sumatera. The analysis method of this study used a quantitative approach with Partial Least Square (PLS) SmartPLS 3. Data collection was carried out by conveying surveys to 200 alumni of volunteers who participated in the traveling and teaching of 1000 Guru South Sumatera. This study confirmed that motivation significantly influences reflective and experiential engagement, which in turn has significant effect on voluntourism and an indirect effect through reflective engagement and experiential engagement.
